![]() Established in 1922 1st Port Perry is the local group of Scouting serving Port Perry and surrounding area throughout Scugog Township. Scouting is open to both males and females with programs for ages 5 to 26. For more than 100 years, Scouts Canada has brought a world of adventure, outdoor experience, friendship and fun to 17 million Canadian youth. Scouts have fun youth-led adventures discovering new things and experiences they wouldn’t discover elsewhere. Along the way they develop into capable, confident and well-rounded individuals, better prepared for success in the world. How to Join Scouting in Port Perry ![]() Registration for the 2019-2020 scouting year will start in mid-May, 2019. Registration can be completed on-line at myscouts.ca and following the online instructions. ProgramsBeavers - Ages 5 to 7 Embark on adventures like camping, hiking, playing games and even having campfires—all the while making great new friends along the way! 1st Port Perry currently has two Beaver Colonies, one that meets Wednesday nights and one Thursday nights. Cubs - Ages 8 to 11 Cubs explore new challenges and plan adventures as a Pack - camping, hiking, games and fun! 1st Port Perry currently has two Cub Packs, one that meets Tuesday nights and one Wednesday nights. ![]() Scouts - Ages 11 to 14 Scouts explore the outdoors with adventures as a Troop - canoeing, hiking, jamborees! 1st Port Perry's Scout Troop currently meets Tuesday nights.
